About Better Together Miramichi
Better Together Miramichi is a Non-Profit Organization that was founded in 2022. Our goal is to bring community members together to help eachother through rough times.
This goes for proactive measures including helping families falling behind, with items they may need for their children or with fundraising to help them get back on track. We direct them to programs in our community that may help them through rough times. At Christmas time we work hard at matching sponsors to families who feel they cannot make ends meet in time for their children to enjoy Christmas morning.
In Miramichi we currently have over 100 people that are homeless. Through Better Together Miramichi we try our best to find resources and donations for each and every person who is homeless. We accept donations of hats, mits, jackets, warm clothing for winter, tents, cell phones, blankets, gift cards and food items. Food is freshly made by our organization and brought around our community.
Our Organization is the middle man that connects sponsors and those wanting to help to those who are struggling. Our hope is that no one in our community gets left behind and even those without supportive friends or family will have a place they experience that love and kindness during the times they need most.
